District Leadership Committee (DLC) 2026

Taking on a leadership role in Toastmasters allows you to develop and practice skills that will make you a great leader, in an environment where mistakes are learning opportunities and successes are celebrated. The experience is invaluable, both on a personal and on a career level.

Today we call for Toastmasters who want to move ahead in their leadership track, to apply for a role as a District Officer on the Core Team, or as Division Director or as Area Director before January 31^st, 2026. Late submission will remain possible until February 21^st 2026.

District Executive Committee (District ExCom)

For your District Executive Committee Team, District 59 is looking for a District Director, a Program Quality Director and a Club Growth Director. For your Division, we are looking for a Division Director, and for each of the areas in your Division, an Area Director. (Exact number of vacancies depending on the annual realignment)

To apply, please fill in the 🔗 Application Form here. You will need to submit a filled 🔗Officer Agreement and Release Form for the role you are applying for as well.

What happens next?

Once submitted, we shall acknowledge your application with further information on the interview process and campaigning process.

Deadline

PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: February 21^st, 2026. (but for out convenience, please submit before January 31^th, 2026 if possible so we have enough time to schedule your interview)

Election

The election of District 59 officers for the 2026-2027 term will take place at the District Council Meeting on Saturday 18^th April from 10:00.

Training

District Officer Orientation will take place during the District Conference, where elected and appointed District Officers will have the opportunity to get acquainted and start preparing for their term – details about this conference can be found here: 🔗 https://conference.district59.org

Formal training will be scheduled at a later date by the incoming Core Team.
