District Outstanding Toastmaster Club of the Year
This is awarded to a club which had extraordinary achievements. This is being determined based on the statistics available from Toastmasters International.
District Outstanding Toastmaster Club of the Year 2008/2009

The last year´s Toastmaster Club of the year has been awarded by District Governor 2008/09 Greg Palmer. It was his honor to present the award to
Lisbon Toastmasters Club
at the Fall District 59 Conference in Hamburg at Nov, 22 2009.
The Lisbon Toastmasters performed way over the rest of the clubs - with 19 (!) Distinguished Club Program (DCP) points. The are a very active club focussing on the educational development of their members.
The club did excellent and "over" performed in several areas
- 35 new members (you get only 2 points for 8 new members)
- 5 Competent Leaders (you can get only 2 points for 2 CLs)
- 4 Competent Communicators
- 6 officers trained in each officer training round
- did the admin tasks well in time
- 1 Advanced Communicator
Well deserved. The next club had about 14 DCP points. Lisbon Toastmasters are a healthy and strong club.
